About

Lisa Feltner is a married homeowner, with a son at Watertown High. Lisa holds a Master’s in Choral Conducting from The University of TX at Austin, but she also built a rich work history in Financial Services, Shareholder & Investor Relations, and a management career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she worked in the School of Science for 10 years. She has managed complex budgets, which included public and private research grant money, and helped supervise diverse projects that included professionals from different countries in addition to federal agencies, such as NASA and the National Science Foundation. Lisa served at MIT through a unique time of transition involving training and implementation of new campus-wide technologies, such as SAP, both as a Fiscal Officer and as an Administrative Officer. While there, she also volunteered in several personnel initiatives, including the Working Group on Support Staff Issues. Today she is dedicated to raising her family, working as a free-lance musician and devoting her time and energy to issues that concern Watertown.
