The ceremony will include a wreath-laying and playing of taps to honor the service members who were injured or killed during the attacks on Pearl Harbor Dec 7, 1941. Among those who will be honored include Seaman 1st Class Philip Darch, a native of Watertown and the namesake of Philip Darch Road, who was one of the sailors killed aboard the USS Arizona during the attacks.
The Honor Guards from the Watertown Police and Fire Departments, and representatives from the Shutt Detachment and VFW Post 1105 will be in attendance. We hope you can join us and we appreciate your support. -Jeremy “Jay” Terminiello, VSO
